MindBloom Tutors
I founded MindBloom Tutors as an independent French-language tutoring service for learners of different ages, abilities and goals. Alongside teaching, I manage the project from end to end: attracting and communicating with clients, designing tailored lessons and learning mend-to-end: attracting and communicating with clients, designing tailored lessons and learning materials, maintaining the website and its basic SEO, and handling scheduling, invoicing,aterials, maintaining the website and its basic SEO, and handling scheduling, invoicing and administration. I have worked with as many as seven students at a time, ranging from 10 to 58 years old, including learners with ADHD. Among the outcomes I am proudest of are helping an adult learner develop greater conversational confidence and supporting a young student who went on to be named the top French student in her year. MindBloom reflects my ability to combine education, digital communication, organisation and attentive client relationships.
Kurated Kulture
Kurated Kulture was a ticketed music event that I co-organised and produced at Penthouse Stellenbosch with one collaborator. The project brought together a seven-act line-up of local and international DJs and required careful coordination across the entire event lifecycle. My responsibilities included venue liaison, artist coordination, Howler ticketing, digital promotion, branded merchandise and on-site delivery. Working within a small team meant moving constantly between creative decisions, stakeholder communication and practical problem-solving, while keeping the audience experience at the centre of the project. Kurated Kulture strengthened my ability to coordinate multiple contributors, communicate under deadline pressure and carry an idea from its initial concept through to a successful live event.
